Most of the forms that SF State Veterans Services uses are housed and maintained by the Department of Veteran Affairs. View the VA's form finder application to find the form you need.
SF State Veterans and dependents can use the Student Center's Veterans Benefit portal to:
- Make requests for initial veterans education benefits certification
- Review the status of certification requests
- Update classes requested for certification or classes that already received certification
- Review veteran education benefit general policies
All requested documents can be submitted online through the Veterans Benefit portal.

- Related To: Waives mandatory system-wide tuition and fees at any California Community College, CSU, or UC. Program does not cover the book, parking, or room and board expenses. There are four plans under which dependents of Veterans may be eligible.
